So sorry for you blog followers Wi-fi has been way harder to find then we thought.... so once again sorry for the absent days, we are trying to enjoy our trip here....
– Oh lets see, where to start…Sorry it’s been so long of a daily blog… Finding internet has been hard to do… we thought we would have time in Virginia but visiting with Joe and Karen was way more important… and our hotel in NY didn’t have free internet so I write to you in the bus on our drive to DC..
We had an amazing time in Virginia…. I can’t thank Joe and Karen enough for letting us spend the night at their house in Virginia Beach, with everything they had going on they made time for us and it was greatly appreciated ALOT… It was nice to have a hot shower, a bed and we even got to take a dip in the spa (which was well needed)…. The food was awesome and breakfast was yummy (nothing like having home cooked food when you haven’t had it in awhile, Texas for a matter of fact was our last home cooked food) … lots of great stories were pass along the breakfast table (ones that I haven’t heard before, so it was fun to hear)…. I was able to get a glimpse of what a great guy Joey was and how he was very loved by everyone and how he made an impact on chris’s life growing up … if it wasn’t for Joey putting the idea in Chris’s head about making a road trip in the bus, this trip would have never happened… After a long breakfast it was time to hit the road and travel to the first settlement in Williamsburg, VA, and wondered around Yorktown and tried to see Jamestown but the park closed before we could see it… Visiting Williamsburg made chris and I realize that our history of the US is very out dated and we need to have kids so we can relearn everything ….
